The Team in Macedonia

VOLUNTEER TEAM:

Elena Gramatikovska Elena was born on May 16th 1986 in Skopje, Macedonia. She has been growing up, studying and living in Skopje till present day. She started playing the piano at the age of 5, and ever since music and art have been inseparable part of her everyday life. She finished primary and secondary music school and graduated from the Music Academy in Skopje in 2008 with the complementary grade “cum laude” and the highest average in her generation for which she was rewarded from the University St"Cyril and Methodius". She is now finishing the second year from the post graduate studies at the same Academy and the same department- piano performance. Since September 2008 she is working as a piano teacher at the state music school “Ilija Nikolovski Luj”. Her first encounter with Lucca Leadership happened in August 2008 when she finished the Foundation program. It was this program that made her discover a great new passion for the concept of transformational leadership. She finished Living Leadership in April 2009 and was a part of the Operations team in Ireland in August 2009. The strong impact of the the program and the amazing people working for Lucca, led to her putting all the effort in creating the space to offer what she has experienced with Lucca Leadership to the people of her country and the Balkan. She is the President of Lucca Leadership Macedonia since it’s forming in December 2009.

Blerta Haxhijaha Blerta discovered Lucca Leadership while searching for opportunities for personal development and growth for youth. After completing the Foundations, she felt an almost overwhelming fulfillment and peace on the inside, and so decided that she wanted to contribute to the promotion of the Lucca values and vision in her community as well, and thus witness the transformation of young people into leaders who make positive and meaningful changes in their communities. While enjoying coming together with people from diverse backgrounds who share a vision for a better world, Blerta is currently studying for a Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Engineering in Skopje. She loves learning new languages, reading and getting daily doses of inspiration from people who have made a difference for the better of all. She believes they are not hard to find - in her vicinity or in the other ends of the world, throughout history or right now. .

Elmedina Ramadani Elmedina, just at the end of her last high school year, discovered that besides perusing her undergraduate studies she also wanted to get involved socially and help in finding sustainable solutions to problems that have to do with her community. This was when she decided to attend the Lucca Leadership Foundations Program. Since then she has been involved with Lucca Leadership, simultaneously completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Architecture in Skopje. Dina hopes to furtherly develop her skills with Lucca, whose vision and values have already made her optimistic about human progress. She is confident that humanity can overcome any problem with good will and with a positive approach to things.n.

Ana Dimitrova Ana Dimitrova was born in 1985 in Skopje, Macedonia, where she lives, works and studies. She graduated in psychology and is currently taking post graduate classes in Human Resource Management. Ana works as an institutional development officer for an NGO involved in capacity building. She is also attending an educational psychotherapy group in Transactional Analysis and taking advanced TA classes for individual work with clients. Ana strongly believes that things can change for the better (especially through open communication) and that all of us are capable of bringing a positive change, within ourselves, as well as in the environment. That is the reason of her admiration for Lucca Leadership, since for the first time, at the leadership foundation training in 2009, she had the feeling that a really large international group of young enthusiasts share the same thought. Since then, with the joint help of some great people, she works in direction of bringing this training to those closest to her culture and heart – to the people in the home country and neighbors from the Balkans. Apart from all this, Ana is very fond of outdoor sports as hiking, running, paragliding and snowboarding.
