The Lucca Leadership Privacy Policy

Lucca Leadership is committed to protecting the privacy of its Participants, Volunteers and Supporters and the users of this site. We will not supply your personal information to any third party without your permission. Information collected about you will only be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. This statement explains how we achieve that goal and gives you details of our privacy practices, including a) what information we collect about you when you use this site; b) how the information will be used or disclosed; and c) your rights with respect to our collection and use of your data.

What Information do we collect and why?

We may ask you to provide us with personal information on a voluntary basis in certain areas of our site. In particular, you may be asked to provide the following information:

Subscription Information: If you want to subscribe to our newsletter, you will be asked to provide your contact details.  We will use this information to maintain your subscription account with us and to fulfil your subscription(s).

Application Information: If you want to apply for any of our programmes online, you will be asked to provide personal information including contact information as well as other application details. We will use this information in selection for the programmes and to inform you of the outcome. 

Donations information:  If you want to donate money to us, we will process any card payments through Paypal.  We do not store your debit or credit card details, we don't even get to see them. When you purchase goods from us it is done via PayPal secure servers. For information on the PayPal service click here. Please be aware that all card details are subject to a number of verification processes. This protects both you and us, reducing the opportunity for fraudulent transactions. We do not see any personal data from these checks, although we are made aware if there are any anomalies, and we will contact you to clarify anything which seems unusual.  If you pay by cheque, it's simply a case of posting a cheque to us and no more personal details are required.

Does Lucca Leadership disclose Information that it collects from this site to other parties?

Lucca Leadership will not provide any information that personally identifies you to any other company or organization, unless it is required to do so by law, Court Order by other Government or law enforcement authorities or as described in this policy. 

Access and Correction

You have a right to know about the personal information that Lucca Leadership holds about you. You also have a right to correct, amend or delete the information that Lucca Leadership holds about you if it is incorrect. If you wish to exercise these rights please contact us by post or e-mail at the address shown in the Contact Us section.

Opting out of further correspondence

If you do not wish to receive any further information about Lucca Leadership, you will be given the opportunity to make this election each time information is sent to you, or you may contact us directly to cancel any further correspondence.

This site incorporates reasonable safeguards to protect the security, integrity, completeness, accuracy and privacy of the personal information we have collected and we have put in place reasonable precautions to protect information from loss, misuse and alteration. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as required and only authorised individuals have access to the information you provide us.

Lucca Leadership may modify this privacy statement at any time, at its discretion and modifications are effective upon being posted on this site. You are responsible for reviewing this privacy statement periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes to it.

Children

Lucca Leadership does not knowingly solicit information from any child under the age of 14. Should a child whom we know to be under 14 send personal information to us, we will use that information only to respond directly to that child to inform him or her that we must have parental consent before receiving his or her personal information.
