Lucca Leadership believes that real transformation happens when people see unity not division, and learn to co-operate rather than just to compete. Our courses make this ideal of finding unity practical by providing tools for increased levels of awareness, ethical decision making and dialogue, as well as developing the skills required to lead effective change.
How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.

Our Patron
“We recall his loyalty and courage; his sense of humour and justice, as well as total commitment to the struggle of the prisoners for the eradication of injustice and for the betterment of their conditions”. Nelson Mandela

For nearly 400 years, Robben Island, 12 kilometres from Cape Town, was a place of banishment, exile, isolation and imprisonment. It was here that rulers sent those they regarded as political troublemakers, social outcasts and the unwanted of society.
During the apartheid years Robben Island became internationally known for its institutional brutality. The duty of those who ran the Island and its prison was to isolate opponents of apartheid and to crush their morale. Some freedom fighters spent more than a quarter of a century in prison for their beliefs.
As a prisoner on the island together with Nelson Mandela for 15 years, Mr Eddie Daniels had first hand insight into the integrity, courage and camaraderie that was key to their survival and indeed triumph during the dark years at Robben Island. They succeeded on a psychological and political level in turning a prison 'hell-hole' into a symbol of freedom and personal liberation. Robben Island came to symbolise, not only for South Africa and the African continent, but also for the entire world, the triumph of the human spirit over enormous hardship and adversity.
We are both grateful and proud to have the wisdom, leadership and love Eddie Daniels brings as a patron to Lucca Leadership SA.
