Lucca Leadership runs courses in transformational leadership which enable young people of all nationalities and backgrounds to discover their purpose, clarify their vision and develop the skills needed to make change happen for the benefit of their communities, nations and ultimately humanity itself.

Lucca Leadership UK is a UK registered charity (1100685) set up in 2002 by a group of 15 young people with the help of some experienced trustees and leadership professionals. We are part of a global organisation with affiliates in the Ireland, Australia, North America and South Africa.

Lucca Leadership UK is an independent organisation and is neither controlled by nor advocates any particular religious or political agenda. Rather than teaching young people what to think and what to lead, we aim to teach young people how to think effectively for themselves and how to lead projects that inspire them, in service of their community.

600 people leading positive change
LLUK impacts on over 600 people in 2009!

LLUK has run programmes for over 600 people this year, up from just 200 in 2008! In addition to our week-long Foundations and Living Leadership programmes, a growing majority of these have come from weekend programmes for organisations such as Chinmaya, the Asha Centre, Goodenough College and Climate Squad. The figure also includes over 200 young people from 9 schools across the UK! As Lucca Leadership moves to a more sustainable social enterprise model, short-course programmes will form the bulk of our work. Thank you to all out volunteers and alumni for helping to make this a reality.

Climate Squad
LLUK supports 300 young leaders in leading carbon reduction projects

LLUK has continued to support Climate Squad in its vision of engaging 300 young leaders who are passionate about stopping climate change to run their own eco-projects in schools, businesses and their local communities. In November LLUK ran another 1 day leadership training programme for 35 young people at the Institute of Education, as part of a weekend session for eco-volunteers.
